ABU DHABI -- The President of Chad has called upon UAE investors and private sector to utilise the "investment-conducive" environment of his country particularly in areas of agriculture, minerals, tourism, industry, energy and transportation.
Idriss Deby Itno, President of the Republic of Chad, currently on a visit to the UAE, has underscored his country's "full readiness" to provide the UAE investors with all incentives and privileges to double their investments in the African country which, he asserted, is enjoying a high level of stability in all areas of life.
The African president made the statements during his meeting today with Dr. Al Taher Musabah Al Kindi Al Marar, Second Vice Chairman at Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and a number of ADCCI senior officials.
Dr. Al Taher stressed that the visit would pave the way for advancing relations between the two countries, hailing the president's call upon Emirati companies to capitalise on the promising economic potential in Chad.
He noted that the UAE-Chad Economic Forum scheduled for September this year will contribute to boosting the UAE businessmen's awareness about the economic and investment opportunities the Africa country abounds in.
