كيب تاون، جنوب أفريقيا، 5 أغسطس 2022 / PRNewswire / — في حفل تبرع في 28 يوليو، قامت شركة Hisense ، وهي شركة مصنعة ومزودة للإلكترونيات والأجهزة الطبية عالية الأداء، بتسليم جهاز متطور وعالي الدقة للموجات فوق الصوتية، جهاز Hisense Ultrasound HD60 إلى صندوق بنينسرال للأمومة لمستشفى موبراي للأمومة للإعلان عن التعاون والمساهمة في مستشفى موبراي للأمومة ووزارة الصحة في كيب الغربية.

ومستشفى موبراي للولادة، الذي تقع في كيب تاون، هي أكبر مستشفى متخصصة للولادة في جنوب أفريقيا فهي متخصصة في توفير الرعاية للنساء اللاتي يتعرضن لحمل شديد الخطورة. البروفيسور نتوسي، وهو رئيس قسم الطب في جامعة كيب تاون ( UCT ) ومستشفى غروت شور، تسلق جبل كيليمانجارو في ديسمبر الماضي لجمع الأموال لشراء جهاز جديد للموجات فوق الصوتية لقسم التخدير في المستشفى.

 تبرعت هايسنس جنوب أفريقيا بجهاز Ultrasound HD60 استجابة لجهود البروفيسور نتوسي. سيؤدي تلقي هذا الجهاز المتقدم للموجات فوق الصوتية مع التشخيصات المحسنة المدعومة من الذكاء الاصطناعي المدمج إلى رفع مستوى الرعاية في مستشفى موبراي للولادة وتقديم نتائج أفضل للنساء المعرضات للخطر بالإضافة إلى رفع معنويات الموظفين.

طورت هايسنس جهاز Ultrasound HD60 لتزويد الأطباء بتصوير أوضح وأعلى دقة يظهر على شاشة التشخيص 21.4 بوصة. يأتي الجهاز مزودًا بمجموعة متنوعة من مسابير الموجات فوق الصوتية، مما يجعله مناسبًا تمامًا لتلبية مجموعة من احتياجات المستشفى من التخدير والتوليد وأمراض النساء والأوعية الدموية.

SDME designs become sustainable research centres in UAE

DUBAI, Several regions across the UAE are witnessing the implementation of the designs of some of the teams that participated in the first and second Solar Decathlon Middle East (SDME) to construct sustainable research centres and laboratories.

The SDME was held under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Executive Council, and organised by Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA), as part of a partnership between the Dubai Supreme Council of Energy and DEWA with the US Department of Energy.

The first (2018) and second (2021) SDMEs were held for the first time in the Middle East and Africa at the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Park, the largest single-site solar park in the world.

Among the teams who are implementing their homes in different Emirates in the UAE are the BaityKool team from the University of Bordeaux, France, Amity University in the UAE; An-Najah National University in Palestine; Team Aqua Green from Ajman University; Team Desert Rose from Wollongong (UOW) Australia; Sharjah Team from the University of Sharjah; and Esteem from Heriot-Watt University in the UK and Heriot-Watt in Dubai.

Professor Tim McCarthy, Director, Sustainable Buildings Research Centre, University of Wollongong, Australia; Dr. Naglaa Mahmoud, Assistant Professor, Faculty of Engineering (Architecture) at Ajman University; and Dr. Philippe Lagiere, Assistant Professor Université de Bordeaux, highlighted the importance of the opportunity offered by the SDME to test the projects of the participants in reality and using special programmes for the first time. This has enabled them to improve their designs and better understand their strengths and weaknesses, as well as strengthen the experiences of all team members and their communication skills.

The competition was the largest and most competitive and challenging competition among international universities, with total prizes exceeding AED 20 million.

UAE leaders congratulate Bolivian President on Independence Day

ABU DHABI, President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has sent a congratulatory message to President Luis Arce Catacora of Bolivia, on the occasion of his country’s Independence Day.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, dispatched a similar message to President Catacora on the occasion.

UAE leaders congratulate Jamaican Governor-General on Independence Day

ABU DHABI, President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has sent a congratulatory message to Patrick Allen, Jamaica’s Governor-General, on his country’s Independence Day.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, dispatched two similar messages to Governor-General Allen and to Andrew Holness, Prime Minister of Jamaica on the occasion.

Hala Badri visits ‘Min – Ela’ exhibition at Al Safa Art and Design Library

The exhibition is held by Dubai Culture at Al Safa Art and Design Library and seeks to celebrate the artists.

Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation turns 30

ABU DHABI, The Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation marked Friday its 30th anniversary, building on the rich charity legacy of the nation founding father, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, who once said, ”The rich must help the poor, and God Almighty granted us this fortune to develop our country, and help develop other countries as well.”

Upon launching the charitable non-profit and non-governmental foundation on 5th August 1992, Sheikh Zayed allocated a US$ 1 billion-endowment fund, the largest in the region at that time, to use its proceeds in financing charitable and humanitarian works in a wide-ranging educational, health, social, relief and services sectors within the UAE and abroad.

Over the years, the Foundation has contributed significantly to alleviating the suffering of underprivileged families in most Least Developed Countries (LDCs).
