Leaders of Ministry of Interior visit Al-Mujahideen in Dalea

Leaders from Ministry of Interior, visited Al-Mujahideen in the Qa’tabah front, the Batar axis in the Al-Hasha district, and the security points in the Qa’atabah district in Dhale’a governorate.

The visit of the Ministry of Interior leaders to the Batar front in the Al-Hasha district coincided with the arrival of a convoy that included cash and livestock, provided by the people of the Al-Hasha district to the Al-Mujahideen from the army and security forces.

They praised the keenness of the people of Al-Dhalea to enhance the state of security and stability, and to thwart the plots of aggression and its mercenaries.

Minister of Foreign Affairs Hisham Sharaf on Tuesday sent a cable of congratulations to Stergomena Lawrence Tax is Tanzania’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and East African cooperation since 2022.

In the cable, Sharaf congratulated Lawrence Tax on the occasion of his country’s National Day.

Fujairah Crown Prince chairs meeting of Fujairah Fine Arts Academy’s board of trustees

FUJAIRAH, H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujaira, chaired the second meeting for 2023 of the Fujairah Fine Arts Academy’s board of trustees, which was held at his office in the Crown Prince’s Court.

During the meeting, Sheikh Mohammed was briefed about the Academy’s programmes and the progress that has been made in that regard, as well as its artistic and creative activities, and the current and future projects the Academy is working on, targeting artists and arts enthusiasts.

H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi stressed the importance of keeping pace with the requirements and transformations of our time, and representing common human values through various expressive art forms.

The Crown Prince noted the vast support that H.H. Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Fujairah, provides for arts in the emirate, and his directives to highlight the artistic traditions and cultural heritage of the UAE and communicate them to the world.

The meeting was attended by Dr. Ahmed Hamdan Al Zeyoudi, Director of the Office of H.H. Crown Prince of Fujairah; and Ali Obaid, Director-General of the Fujairah Fine Arts Academy.

Ministry of State for Federal National Council Affairs earns six ISO international accreditations

ABU DHABI, The Ministry of State for Federal National Council Affairs (MFNCA) has earned six International Standardisation Organisation (ISO) certificates in various fields, as a result of its commitment to enhancing procedures, improving its environment, and establishing a process that encourages creativity, excellence, and innovation.

Tariq Hilal Lootah, Under-Secretary of MFNCA, asserted that the Ministry’s success in obtaining international accreditations is a result of the tireless efforts of its teams, who have shown commitment to working in accordance with the highest standards and in line with the UAE leadership’s directives that emphasise innovation in performance as a means to continue making achievements and ensuring the best results on global indicators.

The Ministry recently obtained an ISO certificate for Information Technology services, enabled by its commitment to quality in managing electronic services as per the highest standards and best practices in the field. The MFNCA also earned the ISO in Governance of Organisations for its success in implementing appropriate governance and administrative practices, in line with a vision to develop administration and governance practices across its various departments and committees, which, in turn, supports building internal institutional operations.

Moreover, the Ministry of State for FNC Affairs obtained the ISO certificate in Security System and Institutional Resilience for its efforts in implementing institutional resilience practices in government operations, developing its system, implementing institutional best practices, and defining the terms and principles related to institutional resilience. It also earned a certificate of conformity to the ISO in Business Continuity Management, following its success in implementing an integrated strategy that includes procedures and measures allowing the Ministry to continue providing its services during emergencies, crises, and disasters, in accordance with best practices.

The MFNCA also obtained the ISO certificate in Risk Management for its ability to mitigate risks and potential uncertain events according to the highest standards.

The Certificate of Competency Management and Personnel Development obtained by the Ministry is one of the international ISO specifications, which provides guidance to assist institutions in implement the quality management system for training services, and serves to determine the requirements for each step of implementation. The system aims to improve employee performance, raise productivity, enhance job satisfaction, and promote the principle of transparency.

Jordan Stresses Need for Urgent Steps to Provide Financial Support to UNRWA

Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi and Commissioner-General of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) Philippe Lazzarini stressed the need for the international community to take practical and urgent steps to provide the necessary financial support to the agency so that it continues to provide its vital services to refugees.

Safadi and Lazzarini, who is visiting Jordan, discussed Tuesday efforts to provide the necessary financial support for the agency to bridge the financial deficit and ensure it continues to provide its services to Palestinian refugees in accordance with its UN mandate.

Safadi said that empowering the agency financially and ensuring its ability to implement its UN mandate is an absolute necessity to provide a decent life for refugees and an investment in security and stability.

He stressed the centrality of the agency’s role in providing education, health services and relief aid to Palestinian refugees and the need for the UNRWA to continue its work until the refugee issue is resolved in a way that guarantees Palestinians right to return and a compensation in accordance with international legitimacy resolutions within the framework of a comprehensive solution to the Palestinian issue based on the two-state solution.

Shura Council Delegation Starts Official Visit to Sweden

A delegation from the Shura Council headed by Assistant to the Speaker of the Council, Dr. Hanan bint Abdulrahim Al-Ahmadi, starts an official visit to the Kingdom of Sweden.

Al-Ahmadi said in a press statement that during the visit, the Council delegation will discuss parliamentary relations between the Shura Council and the Swedish Parliament, means to support their ties, emphasizing the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s position towards various regional and international issues and Saudi Arabia’s pioneering role in supporting international peace and stability.

The meeting will tackle humanitarian aid efforts internationally by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) and its influential role in alleviating human suffering worldwide, the statement added.
