ABU DHABI, The General Command of the Abu Dhabi Police and the Arab Organisation for Social Responsibility discussed the means of strengthening their joint cooperation, to promote the culture of social responsibility and make it a key strategy.
Colonel Dr. Hamoud Al Afari, Director of the Social Police Administration of the Community Security Sector, met, in his office, with Pierre Moukarzel, President of the Arab Organisation for Social Responsibility, and his delegation and highlighted the desire of the Abu Dhabi Police to promote the culture of social responsibility and encourage individuals to volunteer, to serve their community and maintain its security and stability, as well as its efforts to constantly update its social responsibility work and keeping pace with relevant international developments and standards.
Moukarzel praised the efforts of the Abu Dhabi Police to support the concept of social responsibility, through its role in organising social activities and initiatives that promote moral responsibility, as well as its efforts to improve the quality of life of the local community and provide welfare for individuals, by launching and organising relevant initiatives, in coordination with specialist departments and private sector institutions, which believe in these principles and are working to establish them.
He also confirmed the organisation’s readiness to train the staff of the Abu Dhabi Police in social responsibility, as well as to hold forums and conferences that aim to promote this concept and make it a part of the strategies of the country’s government and private sectors.
Strengthening the local and international relations between the police and civil society organisations will help to achieve their strategic goals and consolidate the relations between community members and institutions, which will make everyone partners in achieving security, Al Afari said in conclusion.
