CAIRO, Al Maktoum Foundation concluded its Ramadan programme in Maghagha area that included hosting of iftars in hundred of villages.
This is in addition to sponsoring Holy Quran memorisation contests for children of different age groups in the area, located in Minya Governorate, Upper Egypt.
The charity also distributed thousands of food parcels to the needy families.
Dr. Salah Al Jafarawi, Advisor of Al Maktoum Foundation, said that the charity will start debts repayment programme for poor ladies during this Eid Al Fiter vacation.
Mirza Hussain Al Saigh, Member of the charity Board of Trustees, extended the greetings of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai and UAE Minister of Finance, Patron of the Al Maktoum Foundation, to the competitors and winners and urged them to exert efforts to memorise and study the Holy Quran.
