Arab League Secretary-General condemns terrorist attack on Jordanian Intelligence office

CARIO, 7th June, 2016 (WAM) — Dr. Nabil Elaraby, Secretary-General of the Arab League, has condemned the terrorist attack that targeted the Jordanian Intelligence office in the Baqa’a camp in the west of Jordan yesterday, resulting in the martyrdom of five General Intelligence personnel.

In a statement issued yesterday evening, Elaraby reiterated the support and solidarity of the Arab League with the Jordanian government and people in the face of terrorism and extremism in a comprehensive way and pledging to work to eradicate terrorism at its root.

Elaraby offered his condolences to His Majesty the King of Jordan, the Jordanian people, and to the relatives of the innocent victims.
