BACA President receives UAE Ambassador

Manama, President of the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA), Shaikha Mai bint Mohammed Al Khalifa, received here today the UAE Ambassador to Bahrain, Shaikh Sultan bin Hamdan bin Zayed Al-Nahyan.

Shaikha Mai stressed that the importance of strengthening the joint Bahraini-UAE cultural relations, noting that the two countries share a deep-rooted history and a distinguished cultural movement that have contributed to attracting the world’s interest in the region as a civilisational production centre.

BACA President commended the efforts exerted by the UAE to consolidate the cultural achievements of the region, expressing hope that Expo 2020 Dubai will achieve its goals of extending bridges of human communication between the GCC and other countries.

The UAE Ambassador praised the role played by BACA to preserve BahrainAEuros s heritage, hailing its activities aimed at enhancing the cultural movement in the kingdom and the region.

He stressed that BahrainAEuros s participation in Expo 2020 Dubai will contribute to enriching the GCCAEuros s efforts to promote the regionAEuros s deep-rooted rich cultural and civilisational heritage.

He also expressed his readiness to support BACA to enhance the cultural progress in the kingdom, and achieve the aspirations of the two brotherly countries.
