DUBAI, — The Community Development Authority in Dubai has launched a campaign to educate government employees, educational staff and students about a new educational game designed to promote children’s awareness of their basic rights to education, healthcare and protection from violence and physical abuse.
The game, called ‘My Rights’, was launched on Apple’s App Store and Google’s Play Store, in November last year to coincide with the occasion of the UN Universal Children’s Day.
The campaign which will continue to the end of May.
Working with partners to reach out to a maximum number of families is important, noted Maitha Al Shamsi, CEO of the Human Rights Sector at the Community Development Authority.
In the next stage, the campaign will target partners from the private educational sector and the social clubs of foreign communities, she said.
