Deputy Premier patronizes Bahrain Polytechnic graduation

Manama, Deputy Prime Minister His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Education and Training Development patronized the sixth batch graduation of Bahrain Polytechnic (BP).

The event was held in the Shaikh Abdulaziz Bin Mohammed Auditorium at the University of Bahrain (UoB) Sakhir campus, in presence of ministers, officials and guests.

His Highness expressed his delight at the Bahrain Polytechnic advanced status and its proven track record of hard work to achieve its objectives as per the Education and Training Development Scheme and in harmony with the Government Action Plan and the KingdomAEuros s Economic Vision 2030 wherein Bahraini human constitutes the backbone of economy and the essential element to develop the societal and economic activities.

The Bahrain Polytechnic has proven over the past ten years through its academic programs its full awareness of the labor market requirements in view of constant transformations and was able in cooperation with the private sector to contribute the suitable expertise and specializations as well as prepare its graduates to become successful entrepreneurs.

HH Shaikh Mohammed expressed his appreciation of the results indicated by the graduation statistics that reflect the importance of the Polytechnic whereas 85% of its graduates have obtained jobs in their specialization meanwhile 8% began their own businesses within 24 after graduation or even during their studies.

His Highness said these accomplishments of the Bahrain Polytechnic are undoubtedly the culmination of compliance with the directive of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to attach utmost priority to education with the support of His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa the Prime Minister and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, to the development of education and its advancement in the Kingdom.

HH the Deputy Premier expressed gratitude to the Minister of Education, the College board of trustees, executive president, academicians and administrative staff for their efforts in the accomplishment of excellence. His Highness congratulated the graduates and their parents, wishing them a successful career to build their future and serve their nation.

HH the Deputy Premier distributed the degree certificates to 189 graduates who have passed the graduation requirements in various specializations.
