Manama, Deputy Prime Minister, Supreme Council for the Development of Education and Training President His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa, received ministers and heads of delegations, participating in the 11th Conference of Arab Ministers of Education.
Bahrain will host the conference, coinciding with its celebrations of establishing formal schooling a hundred years ago, which started in 1919.
HH Shaikh Mohammed highlighted the importance of the conference, which discusses the role of education in building the future generations, and comprehensive development in the Arab region. He focused on exchanging experiences between the Arabian countries to enhance education.
The conference aims to enhance the educational systems in the Arab region which will lead to comprehensive development, especially the fourth objective of the sustainable development 2030.
The ministers praised Bahrain's educational achievements, wishing the Kingdom further progress and prosperity.
