Dubai: The Clinic and Medical Services Section of Dubai Municipality has issued 132,166 occupational health cards during the first half of the year 2012 as part of the strategic cooperation among government departments in the emirate of Dubai based on the agreement of cooperation signed by DHA and DM.
This was stated in the half-yearly report of the DM Clinic and Medical Services Section of Public Health Services Depart at DM.
Ms. Zohoor Hussain AL-Sabbagh, Director of Public Health Services Department said that the department would do its best to meet the needs of customers and under the process of opening a new branch of the clinic in Al Warsan area in the second half of the current year aimed at providing the service of occupational health card issuance. The department also added new services under the packages of advanced services for the public such as issuing health and medical fitness certificate.
“Total medical visits during the period reached 11,189 while the total laboratory checkups reached 106,773 including 81,990 x-rays,” Zohoor said.
“The section also receives applications for health cards and medical certificate via internet. This helps the public and companies to save their time, effort and money as both health card and medical fitness certificate will be provided against a single application and medical check-up,” she said.
