DUBAI, 1st June, 2023 (WAM) — Dubai Silicon Oasis (DSO), the special economic zone for knowledge and innovation and a member of the Dubai Integrated Economic Zones Authority (DIEZ), has announced its participation in GITEX Africa 2023, the largest all-inclusive tech event on the continent. GITEX Africa, a spin-off event of GITEX Global, for the first-time taking place in Marrakech, Morocco, from 31st May to 2nd June, will serve as a premier platform for tech giants, start-ups, investors, and academia to collaborate, foster innovation, and explore new opportunities. Through its presence at GITEX Africa, DSO will be showcasing at its stand exclusive offerings and solutions to technology companies, entrepreneurs, and startups, such as business set-up facilitation, innovative smart city solutions, conducive working environment, and access to a broad network of venture capitalists as well as a community of like-minded individuals. Amongst its unique free zone business offering, DSO will also feature key infrastructure, including: Dubai’s first integrated smart city the 150,000 square metre “Dubai Digital Park”; The largest tech co-working space in the region Dubai Technology Entrepreneur Campus (DTEC); Multi-use warehousing and manufacturing facilities Light Industrial Units; Dubai’s leading University in STEM and business Rochester Institute of Technology; Upcoming expansion projects in Dubai Silicon Oasis.
