Emirates Airlines cancels trip to Baghdad today after an Iranian strike against US bases

Baghdad, Emirates Airlines announced the cancellation of a return flight to Baghdad today, Wednesday, following an Iranian missile attack on American bases in Iraq.

"We follow the developments carefully and communicate closely with the relevant government authorities regarding our flight operations and we will make further operational changes when necessary," the Dubai-based company said in a statement.

Flydubai canceled a trip to Baghdad today, Wednesday.

Iran launched missiles targeting US bases early on Wednesday in response to the killing of Qassem Soleimani, commander of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards Corps, in an air strike by a U.S. drone plane.
