Foreign Ministry Postpones Fifth Arab-African Summit Due to Gaza Situation

Riyadh, The Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced postponing the fifth Arab-African summit due to the ongoing developments in Gaza, noting that the date of the summit will be set later.

The ministry made the announcement after coordinating with the Secretariat General of the Arab League and the African Union Commission (AUC) to ensure that the political events in the region do not affect the Arab-African partnership, which focuses on economic and developmental aspects.

The ministry’s announcement highlighted the current developments in Gaza, which necessitated the holding of an extraordinary Arab summit and an Islamic summit concerned with discussing the ongoing crisis and its serious humanitarian repercussions.
