GCC social development strategy reviewed

Muscat GCC social affairs undersecretaries are discussing in Muscat ways to implement the Gulf’s strategy in the social development field.

Participants arer addressing key topics on the meeting’s agenda, which will be presented to the ministerial council for approval on Wednesday, head of the Kuwaiti delegation Hanaa Al-Hajri told Kuwait News Agency (KUNA).

She added that they are also discussing general guidelines on enabling special needs people to take part in voluntary work and Kuwait’s initiative on individuals building and enhancing legislations.

The meeting is addressing the code of honor for workers in family guidance, the participation of the GCC General Secretariat in Dubai Expo 2020 and the fifth Gulf theatrical festival for special needs people to be held in Kuwait next December, Al-Hajri said.
