Makkah, The General Authority for the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque has been part of the Saudi Pavilion at the World Travel Market, held this year in London.
The authority displayed a piece of the Holy Kaaba Kiswah (cloth), which is renewed annually, and invited visitors to participate in the weaving and knitting of this cloth. It also displayed some tools used for cleaning the Holy Kaaba, pieces from the Saudi Riwaq Museum at the Grand Mosque, and a copy of the Holy Quran dating back to 1296 Hijri.
It also presented the services it has been providing to visitors to the Two Holy Mosques since its establishment, and the Kingdom's efforts to enrich the experience and journey of Umrah performers and pilgrims.
