Israeli occupation army announces death of 8 of its soldiers in Rafah


Amman: The Israeli occupation forces announced on Saturday evening that eight of its soldiers and officers were killed by the explosion of a personnel carrier during the battles in Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip.

According to the Israeli Broadcasting Corporation, the dead included the deputy commander of a company in the 601st Engineering Brigade.

Al-Qassam Brigades announced on Saturday that it carried out a complex ambush against the occupation forces in the Saudi neighborhood of Tal al-Sultan, west of Rafah.

It said that it targeted the tower of an Israeli bulldozer with an Al-Yasin 105 missile, which led to its ignition and killed and wounded the bulldozer’s crew.

It added that immediately after the arrival of the rescue force, a Nimr APC was targeted with a Yasin 105 shell, which led to its destruction and the death of all its members.
