Jeddah, Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Dr. Yousef bin Ahmed Al-Othaimeen has strongly condemned the terrorist Houthi militia’s failed attempt to target civilians and civilian objects in Jazan City, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, with a ballistic missile.

The Secretary General commended the Saudi Air Defense Forces’ efficiency and skills in intercepting and destroying the ballistic missile before reaching its target.

Dr. Al-Othaimeen renewed his calls on the international community to take decisive stances to stop the continuous cowardly threats with ballistic missiles and bomb-laden drones that the Houthi militia uses to target civilians and civilian objects. He also stressed the OIC’s firm position that considers the Houthi militia’s practices as war crimes and a blatant challenge to international humanitarian law.

The Secretary General reiterated the OIC’s support for all measures that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia takes to confront the practices of the terrorist Houthi militia in order to preserve its security, stability and the safety of its citizens and residents.
