Head of the Saudi delegation to the Hangzhou 2022 Asian Games Prince Fahd bin Jalawi bin Abdulaziz bin Musaed held several bilateral meetings today in China, on the sidelines of the games.

Prince Fahd bin Jalawi met with President of the Olympic Committee and the head of the Kyrgyz delegation Sadyr Mamytov. The sports cooperation between Saudi Arabia and Kyrgyzstan was reviewed during the meeting. They also discussed ways to strengthen the relationship between the Saudi Olympic Committee and its counterpart in Kyrgyzstan.

Another meeting took place with head of the Turkmen delegation Ata Kammedov. The meeting aimed to discuss the participation of Saudi Arabia and Turkmenistan in the games. The two parties explored opportunities to enhance sports cooperation between the Saudi Olympic and Paralympic Committee and its counterpart in Turkmenistan. The ultimate objective of the cooperation is to contribute to the development of sports in both countries.

Prince Fahd bin Jalawi crowned the winners of the 50m butterfly event during today's swimming competition.
