Volunteer Efforts Span Over 100,000 Hours to Serve Prophet’s Mosque Visitors Ahead of Hajj

Madinah: The General Authority for the Care of the Two Holy Mosques intensified its volunteer services in preparation for this year’s Hajj season (1445 AH) and the arrival of pilgrims in Madinah.

From mid-Dhu al-Qa’dah until the fourth day of Dhu al-Hijjah, the authority’s department responsible for social and volunteer efforts engaged 6,000 male and female volunteers.

In total, the volunteers dedicated over 100,000 hours to serve the pilgrims, participating in 50 social and humanitarian volunteer opportunities.

The services provided encompassed guidance and assistance for pilgrims, including lost individuals, crowd management, multilingual field support, distribution of meals and Zamzam water bottles, and monitoring of health conditions.
