This bullion coin, made of the world’s purest gold, was launched today in Toronto, Ontario, at PDAC 2022, the world’s premier mineral exploration and mining conference hosted by the Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada. It is on display at the Royal Canadian Mint booth and will soon be available through the Mint’s network of official bullion distributors.

The reverse of the 2022 $200 1 oz. 99.999% Pure Gold Coin Klondike Gold Rush: Prospecting For Gold is designed by Canadian artist Steve Hepburn, who has illustrated a wooden sluice box in action, filled with “paydirt” from which precious gold flakes and nuggets are being carefully separated. The background of the reverse and obverse features a precisely engraved array of radial lines that have become a defining characteristic of Mint bullion coins. The coin’s security is also enhanced by the Mint’s distinct micro-engraved maple leaf mintmark, showing the number 22 to correspond to its year of issue.

The Mint’s latest 5-9s pure gold bullion coin is presented in richly designed credit card-style packaging that includes a certificate of purity signed by the Mint’s Chief Assayer.

The United Bank for Africa (UBA) redeems USD500 million 5-year Eurobond

 Issued in 2017, the five-year bond was offered at a coupon rate of 7.75%

LAGOS, NIGERIA – EQS Newswire – 13 June 2022 – The United Bank for Africa Plc (“UBA” or the “Group”) (www.UBAGroup.com) on Wednesday 8th June, redeemed its $500 million 5-year Eurobond notes, with a maturity date of June 8, 2022.

Issued in 2017, the five-year bond was offered at a coupon rate of 7.75%.

As part of UBA’s liability management strategies, in November 2021, the Group repurchased $310.9 million of the notes through a cash tender offer.  Upon maturity, the outstanding portion of $189.1 million and the coupon of $7.3 million were paid.

Certification validates the safety and reliability of PROTRXion 48V lithium-ion batteries for powering on-road low-speed electric vehicles

WOODRIDGE, Ill., June 13, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — Inventus Power, a global leader in advanced battery systems, announced today that it has received ECE R100 (Rev 3) certification on its 48 volt PROTRXion™ lithium-ion (Li-ion) battery module. In accordance with the ECE Regulation No 100.03, Inventus Power’s M-48V60-TRX model meets the “safety requirements with respect to the Rechargeable Electrical Energy Storage System (REESS) of road vehicles of categories M and N equipped with an electric power train.”
