Today, Monday, the representative of the Presidential Council, Musa Al-Koni, discussed with representatives of the city of Tarhuna the files of mass graves and unidentified bodies, and the provision of services to citizens.
The media office of the Presidential Council stated that “Al-Koni” affirmed, during the meeting held in the Council’s office, the support of the Presidential Council for all efforts made by the competent authorities to reveal the identities of the bodies.
According to the same source, the delegation representing the city stressed the need to expedite the resolution of this file, and pay attention to development and reconstruction projects so that the city can overcome the ordeal it is going through, praising at the same time the efforts made by the Presidential Council for the success of the national reconciliation project in accordance with transitional justice that aims to achieve stability, and paves the way to conduct the electoral process that the Libyan people aspire to, and for Tarhuna to stand by the homeland and one of the tributaries of achieving stability in it
The media office indicated that Al-Koni assured the delegation – who reviewed the problems and difficulties that impede the provision of services to citizens in many fields, especially health and education – to work to overcome them in coordination with the relevant authorities.
