The Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, Abdul Hamid Dbaiba, and his accompanying delegation arrived in Rome today, Wednesday, at the start of a two-day visit to Italy.

Dbaiba was received by the Italian Prime Minister, Giorgia Meloni, at the government headquarters in Rome.

The Italian Nova news agency said that Al-Dbaiba will hold bilateral talks with Meloni, followed by a full session in the presence of members of the Libyan and Italian governments.

Libya hosts the (73rd) meeting of the Council of Arab Ministers of Justice.

Minister of Justice, “Halima Ibrahim,” participated, on Wednesday, in the 71st meeting of the Executive Office of the Council of Arab Ministers of Justice, which was held at the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the League of Arab States in Cairo.

During the meeting, the Executive Office decided to host Libya for the 73rd meeting of the Council of Arab Ministers of Justice.

The meeting discussed the issue of criminalizing the payment of ransoms to terrorists, combating terrorism, studying the draft Arab agreement related to dealing with the conditions of refugees, and the guiding Arab law to prevent hate speech.
