Delegation from Ministry of Guidance leaves Sana’a Airport, heading to perform Hajj

A delegation from the Ministry of Guidance and Hajj and Umrah Affairs left Sana’a International Airport heading to the holy sites to perform the rituals of Hajj and Umrah for the year 1444 AH.

The delegation includes the Deputy Minister of Guidance and Hajj and Umrah Affairs, Allama Fouad Naji, the Undersecretary of the Hajj and Umrah Sector at the Ministry of Guidance, Abdul Rahman Al-Nami and a number of scholarly, social, and tribal figures.

The delegation of the Ministry of Guidance emphasized the importance of presenting and performing religious rites, and glorifying God’s rituals, foremost of which is the Hajj pilgrimage to the Sacred House of God.

They expressed their sincere thanks and great gratitude to the leader of the revolution, al-Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, and the President of the Supreme Political Council for their interest and continuous follow-up to the opening of Sana’a International Airport and the inauguration of the first group of Yemeni pilgrims through the airport last Saturday, after eight years of imposing a ban on it and preventing Yemenis from traveling to perform the rituals of Hajj.

It is noteworthy that the flight carrying the delegation of the Ministry of Guidance and Hajj and Umrah Affairs via Sana’a Airport is the second that carries 180 Yemeni pilgrims, after the first flight launched last Saturday and carried 273 pilgrims on board.

General Presidency for Affairs of Two Holy Mosques Launches Tayseer Service for Pilgrims

The Women’s Assisting Agency for Technology, Digital Transformation and Artificial Intelligence at the General Presidency for the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque has activated the Tayseer service for the second Hajj season.

Assistant Undersecretary for Technology, Digital Transformations and Artificial Intelligence Jumaa Al-Ghamdi said that the Tayseer service helps achieve quality business intelligence, keep pace with the digital transformation and facilitate and improve administrative transactions.

The service is part of the efforts of women’s agency at the Grand Mosque to introduce computer terminology and technological innovation as part of the agency’s Technological Beacons initiative.

Egyptian Parliament Delegation concludes its visit to the headquarters of the Libyan Parliament.

The Egyptian Parliament Delegation, headed by Hanafi Japali, and his accompanying delegation concluded their official visit to the headquarters of the Libyan Parliament.

They were seen off at Benina International Airport by the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Aqila Saleh, and the first vice-president, Fawzi Al-Nuwairi, and the heads of the permanent committees and the head of the House of Representatives’ office, according to the official spokesman for the parliament, Abdullah Blehaq.

Aqila Saleh presented souvenirs to his Egyptian counterpart, Hanafi Jabali.

It is noteworthy that the delegation of the Egyptian parliament attended the parliament session that was held yesterday in Benghazi. After that, the two sides held meetings on the sidelines of the visit, and a cooperation protocol was signed between the Libyan parliament and the Egyptian parliament.

UAE deputy representative to the UN calls for preserving the political track to resolve the Libyan crisis.

The UAE Deputy Representative to the UN, Ambassador Mohamed Bu-Shahab, called on Libyan leaders to reach consensus on the election laws to achieve the aspirations of the Libyan people for security and stability.

Bu-Shahab, during his remark in the Security Council session that was held yesterday and witnessed a briefing by the UN Envoy, Abdoulaye Bathily, on Libya, stressed that preserving the political track is a priority led by Libyans so that the country turns the past and its internal divisions.

He also called for the need to focus on national reconciliation and dialogue as necessary to build confidence between the Libyan parties to achieve national unity and the country’s stability, indicating his support for the efforts of the Presidency Council and African Union in the national reconciliation project.

He commended the meeting of the Security Working Group in Tripoli last May, and its subsequent meeting in Benghazi, pointing out that it demonstrates the military leaders’ commitment to respecting the cease-fire.

Bu-Shahab stressed the need for this to be accompanied by actual steps on the ground, including the simultaneous, phased, and gradual withdrawal of foreign fighters, foreign forces, and mercenaries.
