The UN Special Representative of the Secretary-General to Libya, Abdoulaye Bathily, participated in the regional consultative forum on the development of the Sahel, which was held in Niamey last week and was organized by the High-Level Independent Panel on Security and Development in the Sahel.
“I highlighted the interconnection between the crisis in Libya and the region and stressed the need for strong regional coordination at all levels.” Bathily said in a tweet.
