Turkish MoD Announces the Killing of 3 PKK Militants in An Air Strike in Northern Iraq

The Turkish Ministry of Defense announced that three PKK militants were killed in an air strike that targeted one of the PKK’s sites in northern Iraq.

The Turkish defense said in a statement today, Saturday, that the air strike targeted the site in the area of the ongoing Operation Lock Claw against the PKK militants in northern Iraq, stressing that the Turkish army will continue to destroy the militants’ hideouts.

It is noteworthy that the Turkish army carried out a large-scale military operation on April 18 of last year, and it is still ongoing, dubbed Lock Claw, against the strongholds of the PKK in the regions of Matina, Al-Zab, Afshin and Bazian in northern Iraq.
