UK, The Netherlands to Build World’s Biggest Electricity Power-Line in the World

The UK and The Netherlands announced today that they will build a cross-border power line that will provide electricity for 1.8 million people in the UK.

The ministry said that the power line, called LionLink, will be able to transfer 1.8 gigawatts (GW) of electricity. The Netherlands and the UK plan to build Europe’s biggest cross-border power line to deliver clean energy and boost energy security.
