HH the Amir Arrives in Jeddah

HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani arrived Friday in Jeddah in the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to head the delegation of the State of Qatar to the 32nd regular session of the Arab League Council at the summit level, which will be held later today in Jeddah.

HH the Amir and the accompanying delegation were welcomed upon arrival at King Abdulaziz International Airport by HRH Deputy Governor of Makkah Al-Mukarramah region Prince Badr bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, HE Ambassador of Qatar to Saudi Arabia Bandar bin Mohammed Al Attiyah, HH Saudi Ambassador to the State Prince Mansour bin Khalid bin Farhan Al Saud, members of the Embassy of the State of Qatar to Saudi Arabia, and a number of Saudi civil and military officials.

Apple Releases iOS 16.5 with New Sports Tabs in News App

Apple released iOS 16.5 to all its users. It will include a new sports tab in Apple News.

“In My Sports in the News app, you can follow your favorite sports, teams, leagues, and athletes; receive stories from top sports publications, local newspapers, and more; access scores, schedules, and standings for the top professional and college leagues; and watch highlights,” the company said on its website.

It also introduced multiview for sports fans on Apple TV. Users can use this feature to watch up to four games simultaneously on Apple TV 4K.

HH the Amir Participates in 32nd Arab Summit

HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani participated today, along with his brothers Their Majesties, Their Excellencies, and Their Highnesses and heads of Arab delegations, in the opening session of the 32nd regular session of the Arab League Council at the summit level, taking place at King Abdullah International Conference Center in Jeddah in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

HE President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy participated in the summit.

The summit was also attended by HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani, members of the official delegation accompanying His Highness, and a number of Their Highnesses and Their Excellencies members of the accompanying official delegations, representatives of international and regional organizations, and guests of the summit.

FM congratulates Timor -Leste, Cameroon counterpart

Minister of Foreign Affairs Hisham Sharaf on sent a cable of congratulations to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Democratic Republic of Timor Leste, Adalgiza Magno, on the occasion of her country’s national day.

Hisham Sharaf also sent a cable of congratulations to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cameroon, John Mabila Mabila, on the occasion of his country’s National Day.

Mass vigils in Sana’a to commemorate Al-Sarqah

Sana’a governorate witnessed today, after Friday prayers mass vigils to commemorate the anniversary of Al-Sarqah under the slogan “The yell in the face of the arrogant.”

The participants in the vigils that were held in the villages and districts of the province confirmed that launching the slogan of the Al-Sarqah was an inevitable necessity to confront America after the American regime usurped land, honor, money and blood in Iraq and Afghanistan.

They pointed out that the martyr leader realized early on the seriousness of the American project to occupy Arab and Islamic countries, exploit their wealth and humiliate their people, so he launched his Quranic project to confront that colonial project.

They affirmed that Al-Sarqah revived in the nation the spirit of jihad, pride and courage, and terrified the countries of global arrogance, led by America and Israel.

The statements denounced the march of flags carried out by hundreds of Zionists in occupied Jerusalem, and the repeated attacks against our brothers in occupied Palestine.

The statements called on everyone to go out in a mass and honorable manner next Wednesday to commemorate the anniversary of the Al-Sarqah the face of the arrogant powers and support for the great causes of the nation.

Directors Board of Al-Jumhuri Hospital Authority in Hajjah appreciates President Al-Mashat supporting authority

Directors Board of of Al-Jumhuri Hospital Authority in Hajjah province valued the support of His Excellency Field Marshal Mahdi Al-Mashat, Head of the Supreme Political Council of the Authority.

The Board of Directors affirmed in its meeting today, chaired by the Chairman of the Authority, Dr. Ibrahim Al-Ashwal, that the projects that were inaugurated and the foundation stone laid for them during President Al-Mashat’s visit to the governorate will work to bring about a quantum leap in the health sector.

The meeting reviewed the reports of the first quarter of the year 2023 AD related to job discipline, highlighting what has been achieved and the difficulties that have been encountered.

Dr. Al-Ashwal praised the efforts of the authority’s cadres and their keenness to improve the level of medical services, stressing the need for concerted efforts by all to overcome the current difficulties.
