Jakarta, Indonesian pilgrims heading to Saudi Arabia to perform Hajj this year continue to benefit from the Makkah Route Initiative services at the Soekarno-Hatta International Airport here.

Pilgrims interviewed praised the initiative and Saudi Arabia’s efforts to serve pilgrims in the best possible way and ensure that they complete their Hajj journey comfortably.

The initiative entails streamlining travel procedures for pilgrims in their home countries. Upon their arrival in the Kingdom, they will be received in a designated hall and then transported to their accommodations without having to wait at the airport. Their luggage will then be delivered to them.

The Ministry of Interior has been implementing the initiative for six consecutive years in cooperation with the ministries of foreign affairs, health, Hajj and Umrah, and media, the General Authority of Civil Aviation, the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority, the Saudi Data and AI Authority, and the ?Pilgrim Experience Program, to enhance the Hajj journey

Haifa – Together – Two men from Shafa Amr in their sixties were found seriously injured as a result of being exposed to a shooting crime while they were working in Kiryat Ata, near the city of Haifa within the 48 territories.

Local sources reported that the two men – from the Sawaed family – were exposed to gunfire while working in a construction workshop, and medical teams declared that they died from their critical wounds.

This morning, a young man from the city of Nazareth was injured, described as serious, in a shooting crime that took place in the city of Shafa Amr.

Medical sources also announced the death of the young woman, Iman Abu Ghanem (31 years old), from the city of Ramla, as a result of her serious injuries as a result of being exposed to a shooting crime, last night, in the city.

The death toll from murders in Palestinian society within the 1948 territories since the beginning of this year has risen to 79 people, including 4 women, while last year recorded an unprecedented toll in murders,
in which 228 people were killed, including 16 women.

Ramallah, Palestinian presidential spokesman Nabil Abu Rudeineh slammed the Israeli occupation army’s deliberate targeting of the tents of displaced persons in Rafah, in southern Gaza, as a massacre that exceeds all boundaries.

The spokesman stressed the urgent need for an intervention to stop the crimes committed against the Palestinian people immediately.

He added that the Israeli occupation forces’ commission of this heinous massacre is a challenge to all the resolutions of international legitimacy, particularly the lucid and candid ruling of the International Court of Justice (ICJ) ordering Israel to cease its military offensive against the city of Rafah, and the provision of protection to the Palestinian people, according to the Palestinian news agency (WAFA).

Abu Rudeineh stressed that the world must take prompt action to stop this massive aggression carried out against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, including Jerusalem, and to oblige the Israeli occupation authorities to
stop their crimes that will lead to an explosion in the situation.

He demanded the US administration compel Israel to stop the madness and genocide it is committing in Gaza, particularly in Rafah.

The presidential spokesman further called on the US administration to oblige Israel to stop its aggression in the West Bank, including Jerusalem, which is subjected to an ongoing aggression that targets the citizens and their Muslim and Christian holy sites.

Dozens of Palestinians were martyred and injured earlier in a new massacre committed by Israeli occupation forces after they bombed the tents of displaced people in a newly established camp near the warehouses of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) in the northwest of Rafah.

Gaza: Several Palestinians were martyred and others were injured at dawn Monday in the Israeli occupation’s bombardment of a house in Gaza City.

A number of martyrs and wounded were reported as a result of an Israeli missile targeting a house in Al-Zarqa, north of Gaza City, and they were transferred to the Baptist Hospital in the city, the Palestinian news agency (WAFA) said, citing medical sources.

Additionally, occupation’s artillery targeted east of Jabalia Camp in northern Gaza, while Israeli aircraft conducted an airstrike targeting the north of Al-Nuseirat Camp in the central Gaza Strip.

The Israeli occupation continues its aggression against the Gaza Strip by land, sea, and air since Oct. 7, 2023, resulting in the martyrdom of 35,984 citizens, the majority of whom are children and women, and the injury of 80,643 others, while thousands remain under the rubble.
