Checking out summer courses for girls in capital Sana’a


The head of the subcommittee for summer courses – girls’ section – Ibtisam Al-Mahatwari, inspected the progress of the summer courses at Zahoor Sana’a School in Tahrir District in capital Sana’a.

During the visit, Al Mahtouri praised the efforts made by those in charge of the summer school, and the level of interest of female students in receiving religious, cultural and scientific sciences and the various activities that contribute to developing their abilities and refining their creative skills in various fields.

The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Technical and Vocational Education for the Girls’ Education and Training Sector, Sumaya Muthanna, inspected the summer courses at Sam Bin Nouh, Al-Faisal, Al-Zahraa, Al-Diyaa, and Muhammad Hussein Amer schools in Azal District.

The member of the support team for the summer courses, Alia Al-Sharif, also inspected the progress of the implementation of the courses and summer activities in the mosques of Al-Bakriya, Khudair, Al-Fulaihi, the school, and the Ard
Al-Ulum and Ibn Al-Amir schools in the Old Sana’a District.

In addition, the Chair of the National Committee for Women, Dr. Ghada Abu Talib, inspected the progress of the summer courses at Al-Walaa School in Shu’ub District, and briefed the Deputy Director of the Education Office in the secretariat, Ashwaq Al-Makhdi, on the courses and the level of interaction with them at Al-Furat School in Tahrir District.

For her part, cultural activist Amat Al-Mujeeb Al-Qahum was briefed on the progress of summer activities and courses at Al-Shahba School in Bani Al-Harith District.

The visitors praised the efforts of the educational staff in the summer schools in providing the students with useful knowledge in Quranic culture, developing their scientific, cultural and professional skills, and their level of interaction with various summer activities.

They called on the visitors to unite community and official efforts in supporting summer course activities aimed at protecting young men and women from false cultures an
d soft war.
