Jordan partakes in travel expo in Dubai

A Jordanian pavilion has secured a spot in the Arabian Travel Market (ATM), held in Dubai from May 1 to 5, bringing a crowd of regional and international media and prominent international travel and tourism experts under one roof. Abdul Razzaq Arabiyyat, Director-General of the Jordan Tourism Board, through which the pavilion was opened, said the annual event has a pivotal and consistent role in developing the travel and tourism industry in the region, by attracting prominent figures from experts and decision-makers from various countries of the world. Arabiyat, who is participating in the exhibition along with representatives of the Jordanian consulate in Dubai, 11 tourism agencies and hotels, the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority, and Royal Jordanian, added that the gathering is an ideal platform to communicate with officials and representatives of the tourism industry from around the world, in light of the indicators of tourism recovery from the pandemic. ATM is a prominent global tourism and travel expo, focusing on opportunities to cooperate with global airline companies, tourism agencies, and hotels, he said, noting many recent promotional campaigns in the Gulf region that had a positive impact on tourism.
