Speaker warns against joining US-led coalition to militarize Red Sea

Speaker of the House of Representatives, Brother Yahya Ali Al-Ra’i, warned against the consequences of joining with the US-led coalition efforts to threaten the security of international navigation, militarize the Red Sea, and threaten the security of the region in the service of the occupying Zionist entity.

This came in letters sent by the Speaker of the House of Representatives to the heads of parliaments of a number of countries, in which he stated the Yemeni position on the suspicious American movements.

The messages refuted the content of the joint statement issued by the coalition, which included misleading public opinion, deceived countries, and the suspicious American role.

In letters addressed to the heads of a number of world parliaments, the Speaker of the House of Representatives renewed his condemnation of the false fallacies and false allegations made by the 12-nation coalition about threats to international navigation in the Red Sea.

He condemned the American enemy forces committing the c
rime of targeting three boats belonging to the Yemeni Navy in the territorial waters of the Republic of Yemen while they were performing their tasks and duties in protecting Yemeni sovereignty and the security of navigation in the Red Sea.

Brother Yahya Ali Al-Rai affirmed Sana’a’s commitment to the security and freedom of navigation in the Red Sea, the Gulf of Aden, and the Bab al-Mandab Strait, with the exception of Israeli ships or those heading to the ports of the occupied Palestinian territories, until the crossings are opened and water, food, and medicine enter the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.

The messages indicated the right of the Yemeni people and the Arab peoples to support the Palestinian people, who are facing a war of ethnic cleansing, genocide, and a siege imposed by the occupying Zionist entity, with the support and support of America, Britain and European countries.

The Speaker of the House of Representatives expressed the hope that the heads and members of parliaments would play t
heir role in pressuring the governments of their countries to withdraw from the aggressor coalition, which Yemen will not hesitate to respond to, no matter the cost.
