Dubai, Shamma Al-Mazrouei, UAE Minister of State for Youth Affairs, Vice President of the Arab Youth Center, received at the Abu Dhabi Youth Center, Adnan Darjal, Iraqi Minister of Youth and Sports, during his visit to the center located on Corniche Street in Abu Dhabi, accompanied by the Iraqi ambassador to Abu Dhabi Muzaffar Mustafa Al-Jubouri.
Shamma Al Mazrouei presented the delegation with a comprehensive presentation of the Emirati model for investing in youth energy, which focuses on empowerment, engagement, capacity-building, skills acquisition, providing an incubating environment for creativity, and how to benefit from it in the Arab world to advance the reality and future of youth.
During the meeting, prospects for joint bilateral work were discussed, and ways to develop cooperation to work on youth projects and initiatives that would contribute to enhancing youth participation.
For his part, the Minister of Youth expressed his happiness to visit the UAE and said: “The UAE has always been and still one of the supporters of the development process in Iraq, and the visit to the Abu Dhabi Youth Center pleased me, and to see what services it provides to empower youth.”
