FUJAIRAH: The Fujairah International Marine Club announced the completion of the preparations for the XCAT World Championship Fujairah Grand Prix, which will be held from 1st to 3rd March, 2024, with the participation of some ten boats led by the local teams, “Victory” and “Fazza”.
Ahmed Ibrahim, Managing Director of the Fujairah International Marine Club and Chairman of the Fast Boats Committee at the International Federation, said that Fujairah’s hosting of the championship’s opening round reflects the confidence in its ability to effectively host the event.
He also pointed out that the Emirate is fully prepared to host this important international race, serving as a destination for world champions and stars in this category of marine racing.
Hosing the international event will coincide with the celebration of the 25th anniversary of the Fujairah International Marine Club, he added.
