The Velocity Series represents the first-ever collaboration between an F1 team and a star-studded lineup of digital artists. The series starts with Rik Oostenbroek, a renowned Dutch artist known for his dynamic shapes and abstract forms across a multi-disciplinary approach.

Curated in collaboration with AOI, a foundation for emerging art and technology, the series consists of four releases coinciding with the Dutch, Japan, United States, and Abu Dhabi Grand Prix throughout the 2023 Formula 1 season (specific drop dates may be subject to change). Curia collaborates with Touchlight to expand its mRNA manufacturing offering to enable access to enzymatic doggybone DNA (dbDNA™)

The arrangement expands Curia’s mRNA manufacturing offerings with an additional differentiated source of DNA raw material that is immediately available to be accessed by Curia customers. Under the arrangement, Touchlight will directly manufacture dbDNA on behalf of Curia’s customers.

Parental guide, film on reproductive health launches

The Higher Population Council (HPC) and Share-Net Jordan, a knowledge platform and database, on Monday launched a parental guide and a film to educate children on reproductive health. According to an HPC statement, the parental guide and film, which were made by Jordanian health, education and psychology experts, are part of the outputs of the “Project Improvement Program Using a Participatory Approach, aiming to promote dialogue between parents and their young children on reproductive health. Secretary-General of the council Issa Masarwa said that the HPC is constantly looking to raise awareness on reproductive health, especially among adolescents, because they will be the ones to build the future and drive change and because they do not receive the necessary attention and lack reliable information about reproductive health, despite being the group most in need of such information and services. During the launch, the council also announced the winners of a media competition on reproductive health, which, Masarwa said, aimed to raise public awareness on reproductive health by leveraging print, electronic and visual media to cover such issues in depth.

Jordan announces support for UAE letter ahead of climate conference

Minister of Environment Muawiya Radaydah underscored Jordan’s support for the United Arab Emirates’ (UAE) letter released ahead of the United Nations Climate Change Conference, known as COP28. Last week, the UAE announced the agenda for the conference, which is slated for next November, focusing on linking health and relief efforts with recovery and peace; finance, trade, gender equality with accountability; and energy and industry with a just transition. In a statement to the Jordan News Agency (Petra) on Monday, the minister said that the letter called on member states to fast track the energy transition, reduce emissions before 2030, fulfill old pledges, set a framework for a new financing deal, make nature, people and livelihoods the main focus of climate action and mobilize efforts. He stressed the comprehensive and clear vision of the topics of the summit and the role of the UAE in shaping the outcomes of the upcoming session, stressing the need to realize the vision of the letter and provide international financing that enables developing countries to achieve their climate commitments. He pointed out that the contents of the letter correspond to Jordan’s aspirations for the outcomes of the climate summit, describing it as a simple, flexible and applicable coordinated action plan. He indicated that the letter’s inclusion of the pivotal role of women, youth and indigenous peoples falls in line with the directions of climate action related to these groups, adding that the importance of the letter lies in encouraging countries to submit updated nationally determined contributions that support the global trend for contributions that are more compatible with the current situation.
