An expat couple in Dubai have been hailed as heroes for saving a camel from quicksand while travelling through the desert, Emirati outlet The National reported. Israeli President Isaac Herzog greeted the leaders of several Arab countries and Turkey for the start of the Muslim holiday of Eid al-Fitr which marks the end of the holy month of Ramadan. The United Arab Emirates’ energy minister doubled down Monday on an oil alliance with Russia that’s helped buoy crude prices to their highest in years as Moscow’s war on Ukraine rattles markets and sends energy and commodity prices soaring.
