The Qatari table tennis team won three colored medals today in the 17th Arab Table Tennis Championship for teams, which underway in the Iraqi city of Sulaymaniyah, with the participation of 9 Arab teams.
Qatar won two silvers by Mohammed Al Sulaiti in the U-13 singles category, Ahmed Eid in the U-15 singles category, and one bronze by Sultan Al Kuwari, in the U-15 singles category.
In the men’s category, Mohammed Abdelwahhab qualified for the final after defeating Bahraini Rashid Sanad in the semi-finals. He will face Jordanian Ziad Aziz in the final in search of the gold medal.
