Ukrainian air defense systems announced Thursday that 17 drones launched by Russia from the direction of the Crimean Peninsula were destroyed.
Air defense systems shot down 17 out of 20 drones launched by Russia over the Odessa region, Ukrainian Air Force Commander Mykola Oleshchuk said in a statement.
There have been conflicting reports on the extent of losses suffered by both sides of the conflict since the outbreak of the Russian military operation in Ukraine in 2022.
