Head of Tax Authority praises taxpayers’ developmental role


Head of the Tax Authority, Abdul-Jabbar Ahmed Mohamed, praised the developmental role played by tax taxpayers in the capital secretariat and republic provinces .

In his meeting a number of tax-paying businessmen, he pointed out that tax fees contribute greatly to supporting the economic front and financing development projects in various fields.

He pointed to the importance represented by tax revenues, especially since the aggression coalition controls the sources of sovereign oil and gas revenues.

In turn, businessmen and financiers appreciated the efforts of the head of the Tax Authority and his keenness to follow up on taxpayers’ requirements and involve them in formulating the tax work system, which embodies the trend towards voluntary compliance in paying tax fees.

They praised the qualitative transformations in tax procedures and the automation of various services that enable them to complete their transactions electronically in record time.

The meeting was attended by the Undersecretary of the Aut
hority for the Technical Sector, Waheed Al-Kabsi, and the Director-General of the Executive Unit for Senior Taxpayers, Amin Al-Houthi.

Ending consultative meeting on problems and needs of rural and coastal women


The women’s consultative meeting on the problems and needs of rural and coastal women, organized by the National Committee for Women in cooperation with the Women’s Protection Bloc, concluded today in Sana’a, under the slogan “Yemeni women are partners in development.”

The two-day meeting discussed the problems, difficulties and needs of coastal women, and the mechanism for empowering them in a way that preserves their dignity.

The recommendations stressed the importance of the National Committee for Women’s support for productive and marketing cooperative societies through training, qualification and awareness of the importance of production and economic empowerment.

The recommendations pointed to the importance of coordination and networking within the provinces, while intensifying the efforts of the National Committee for Women in supporting and improving basic educational, health and other services for coastal women , including cultural and religious awareness programs within empowerment programmes.

he urged unified efforts between the relevant authorities, the committee and its branches in all provinces in order to complete the work, noting the importance of the General Authority of Zakat adopting women’s economic empowerment projects in coordination with the committee.

The meeting was attended by the heads of the National Committee’s branches in the provinces, officials of women’s departments in government agencies, and a number of committee cadres

Minister of Works discusses situation of Yemeni Engineers Syndicate


Today’s meeting, chaired by the Minister of Public Works and Roads in the caretaker government, Ghaleb Mutlaq, discussed the situation of the Yemeni Engineers Syndicate.

The meeting touched on the importance of activating the role of the syndicate in terms of classification and registration of engineers and coordination with the Department of Registration and Classification of Contractors and Engineering Offices at the Ministry.

In the meeting, Minister Al-Mutlaq pointed to the importance of the Association’s role in developing and improving engineering performance in the various fields of construction and construction.

He stressed the keenness to enhance coordination between the ministry and the syndicate to serve common goals and the public interest in this important sector.

The Minister of Works in the caretaker government pointed to the importance of the union’s contribution to organizing engineering work in coordination with the ministry, as well as preserving the rights of workers in this sector.

Forces’ units military march of Second Military District


Units from the Second Military District forces carried out a military march in Al-Bayda province under the slogan ‘You are not alone’ in support of the Palestinian people in Gaza Strip.

The military march that started from Radaa city to Al-Sawadiyah District in Al-Bayda province lasted 36 hours, after these units received special training courses.

The march reflected the level of training and qualification of the forces of the Second Military District in terms of military and combat tactics.

The participants in the march confirmed their readiness to implement the directives of the revolution leader , Sayyed Abdul Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, to advocate and support the brothers in Palestine , confront the forces of arrogance and the evil trio of America, Britain, and Israel.

Members of the Second Military District renewed their mandate to the Revolution Leader to take the appropriate steps and decisions to support the Palestinians who are being subjected to a war of extermination by the Zionist entity…

American-British aggression launched 10 airstrikes on Hodeida


The American-British aggression launched today,Monday, 10 airstrikes on Hodeida province.

A security official explained to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) that the American-British aggression launched four airstrikes on Al-Faza area in Al-Tuhayta District, and targeted Al-Jabanah area, west of Hodeida, with six airstrikes.

Ministry of Industry launches price control campaign


The Ministry of Industry and Trade launched on Monday a field campaign to monitor the price and supply conditions and review the level of performance of the field monitoring teams on the markets.

During the launch of the campaign in cooperation with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Amanat Al-Asimah, the Undersecretary for Internal Trade Mohammed Qatran was briefed on the progress of monitoring carried out by the ministry’s field teams and its office in Sana’a on markets during the month of Ramadan.

Agent Qatran pointed out that the campaign comes in implementation of the outputs of the meeting of the Minister of Industry in the caretaker government, Muhammad Al-Mutahhar, with the leaders of the General Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry and Chambers of Commerce and Industry in the municipality and the governorates, and in addition to the directive of Marshal Mahdi Al-Mashat, Chairman of the Supreme Political Council, to coordinate between the ministry and the chambers of commerce to cont
rol prices in a way that protects consumers and traders.

The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Industry praised the level of implementation of field control plans on the markets through the level of commitment to price lists as well as supply stability. He pointed out that the ministry and its offices carry out daily monitoring operations on markets as part of the ministry’s plans to maintain price and supply stability and protect consumers from exploitation and fraud, especially in consumer seasons.

He stressed that the ministry is in continuous coordination with the private sector on providing suitable options for citizens of consumer goods at reasonable prices. He pointed out that the large supply of various goods confirms the success of the ministry’s plans, in cooperation with producers and importers, in providing alternatives to goods covered by the decisions to boycott American goods and the products of companies supporting the Zionist entity.

The Undersecretary reiterated that the boycott decisions
did not affect local markets thanks to the concerted and integrated efforts of the ministry with the private sector.
