16 international pilots to participate in Dubai International Master Competition for RC Aircraft


DUBAI: The Emirates Aerosport Federation (EAF) is organising the fourth edition of the Dubai International Master Competition for RC Aircraft from 1st to 3rd March, 2024, at Zabeel Park in Dubai, with the participation of 16 international pilots.

At a press conference held on Tuesday, the EAF said the competition will be held with the support of the Dubai Sports Council and several sports institutions and authorities in the country.

Yousef Hassan Al Hammadi, Vice President of the Federation and Director of the Competition’s Organising Committee, said the competition enjoys local, regional, and international attention, in light of the successes achieved by its previous three editions.

The federation meticulously chose the event’s venue to enhance its visibility as its location is strategically situated near several prominent tourist attractions, including the Dubai Frame, the Dubai World Trade Centre, and the Museum of the Future, he added.

he Federation and Director of the Competition, said that for the upcoming competition, 16 meticulously chosen pilots will participate based on specific criteria, and each participant must hold at least two international championships, and the reigning champion of the third edition, American Nicholas Maxwell, will also take part.

According to Al Saadi, the competition boasts the highest global classification in terms of pilot expertise, skill, and generous financial prizes.

Additionally, a group of highly qualified and world-class pilots from the UAE will take part, equipped with the necessary external support, and international referee Mohamed Amin Al Zarouni will oversee the competition’s events, he added.
